Our Vision
Illuminating spiritual journeys and uniting communities through transformative Christian literature.

A welcoming refuge where faith and literature meet, creating space for spiritual growth, meaningful discovery, and fellowship.
Every great library begins with a single page, and ours began with a shared vision: to create a sanctuary where faith and literature meet to uplift the community.
In Scripture, Zion is the hill of Jerusalem and the dwelling place of God among His people. It represents a city built through knowledge and illumination, promising both shelter and ascent.
That beautiful promise inspired our name and defines our mission. Zion Christian Library was born from a desire to serve as a modern-day Zion — a welcoming refuge where individuals can find quiet shelter and a launchpad for spiritual ascent through learning, faith, and fellowship.
Today, we serve individuals, families, seminary students, and churches across Saskatoon by providing trusted, spiritually enriching materials.
Zion Christian Library is a registered Saskatchewan non-profit, incorporated on April 7, 2026, and a licensed member of the International Association of Professional Librarians (IAPO).

Illuminating spiritual journeys and uniting communities through transformative Christian literature.
To equip, inspire, and unite the Christian community in Saskatoon and across Saskatchewan by providing access to high-quality, faith-building books.
These values guide how we care for our collection, our Patrons, and the community we serve.
We handle what we hold with care. The Word deserves our best craft, not our leftovers.
The door is wide. Scholar or seeker, everyone is met with the same hospitality.
We keep so that others may use. Preservation and free access are acts of service.
Light is our governing image. We make things findable, readable, and plain.
